Hungary launches 2M HUF heat pump grant for 2026
The 2026 Home Renovation Program offers up to 2M HUF (~€5,000) for air-water and ground-source heat pumps, paired with solar.
Hungary's Ministry of Energy published the 2026 heat pump call on April 10. Direct non-repayable grant replaces the prior VAT-refund scheme.
Maximum is 2M HUF (~€5,000), covering up to 50% of investment. Air-water pump + solar combinations get the top tier.
Deadline: October 31, 2026 or until the 25 billion HUF budget is exhausted — expected in 3-4 months based on prior rounds.
